On September 6th the club held it's annual Sam Childs pre-season cup. This event is not only a chance for the Dad's to dust off their football boots but also for the club to come together and celebrate the life of a fine young boy. This year also saw the addition of a Dad's 5-a-side tournament which was a great success and together with the morning match helped raise funds for The Essex Air Ambulance. We would also like to thank Bond Residential for sponsoring the day again and covering the costs of the match day programme printing.
